To use graphic design experience and web design knowledge to seek internship in advertising, graphics manipulation, and web page development.
EMPLOYMENT HISTORY:
Graphic design work included logo creation/manipulation/recreation, vinyl lettering/signage derived from Corel Draw assignments, photo manipulation, business card design, custom designs for exhibit booths and tradeshow displays.
Created and implemented a logical system for quick information access and long-term records management.
Web Page work included creating two pages for this company, which included custom graphics and were constructed by my own design.
EDUCATION:
High school: Lake Worth Christian High School, 1996, GPA: 3.8
College: BS in Psychology/Studio Art, Skidmore College, 2000, currently enrolled as a junior.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
Worked for the Skidmore News on the layout staff for the past year. Created advertisements for clients, made layout and design choices, and am familiar with deadlines.
Member on Skidmore News Design Committee. Worked to change logo, and update format of the paper that better fits a style that Skidmore can relate to and easily recognize.
Have mastered graphic programs such as: Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, Freehand, Quark Xpress, Microsoft Publisher, Pagemaker, many animated gif programs, ftp programs, web creators, much more. I am confident that I have enough experience to pick up any program that I have not yet encountered very quickly. Familiar with Mac and PC formats.
